This training was part of the technology transfer in conjunction with development of some SharePoint workflows. The project was part of a process management and reporting initiative. Process tracking was key and SharePoint was identified by leadership as the platform.
Once the design and initial development was complete, the internal development team would be taking over. They needed to understand what I done, why I did it that way, how to maintain it, how to troubleshoot problems and how to use the existing code as a model for new development.
The course materials included an overview of the definition processes, analysis techniques for determining workflow actions, use of SharePoint Designer, review of the actual code, and a comprehensive exercise based on a real-world business scenario.
