I’d written a piece on Project Management for Developers in 2020. So when I heard a comment about technology at an online symposium for women in technology, I contacted the publisher.

The comment was that ‘you don’t need to know the technology’ to manage it. I differed with that position strongly.

It also opened the door for all the standard stereotypes that “women” aren’t technical enough. My point: Yes, you need to know. You might not need to be able to build it, but you need to understand what it takes to build it. Read more. No, not supposed to be a button to take you somewhere.
